Nebraska State Bank & Trust
For a unique bank / basketball court project, the owners were faced with choosing between either a SIP roof with a separate expensive veneer wood plank ceiling, or a cheap but uninspiring acoustical tile drop ceiling. Then architecture firm Hokey Ley was approached with a third option: a roof of architectural glue laminated decking exposed from below. Despite its 11th-hour substitution, with the help of Texas Timber Frames, Rosboro’s glue laminated decking was installed in only one week. The result is a distinctive, warm look with greater architectural impact.
Rosboro provided a comprehensive framing package of approximately 225,000 feet of kiln-dried, #2 Douglas fir studs for an ambitious new midrise, Paradigm at Pearl.
Fort Collins Brewery
The unique texture of the rough-sawn glulam brought a lot of character and allowed the owner of Fort Collins Brewery to achieve a signature architectural style.
This treatment center designed to resemble an early-century train depot used X-Beam glulams for authenticity and to remove the need to have shimming beams on the job site.
H-E-B Plus, San Antonio
Rosboro glulam, famous for its long-span applications, spanned effortlessly across the largest of the H-E-B stores, and the glulam lent itself to the resource-efficient commercial architecture.
Blue Mountain Community College
Hoping to use architectural grade glulams, Rosboro glulams far exceeded expectations for this expansive project boasting the installation of over 200 glulams ranging from 4' to 60' in length and 12" to 30" in depth.
